Watercolor Supplies

I have put together what I consider to be the basic supplies for watercoloring the Art Impressions way.  So if you are just getting started, this is a great beginning!

Watercolor Essentials

These are what I consider the essentials for watercoloring the Art Impressions way!  So if you are just starting out, this is what I recommend.

Tombow Markers

The Tombow Website has ALL 108 markers.

Canson Watercolor Paper

This is the paper that I use for all my watercoloring.  Can't go wrong by using this paper.

Palette

This palette is a must have for adding color to your watercolor creations!

Acrylic Blocks

Acrylic blocks should match the size of the stamp you are using.  Many AI stamps are really small, therefore you need small acrylic blocks!  This is the set for you!

Stamp Positioner

If you are OCD about wanting to make sure you stamp exactly where you want it, then this is your tool to do just that!

1" Acrylic Block

AI stamps are so small, I can't get enough of these little 1" blocks.

Travel Case

If you want a carrying case with a "half" size palette and a couple of blocks, then this is the kit for you.

Post it Tape

Twintone Navy

The TwinTone has a super fine point that is great for adding little details.

Twintone Chocolate

The TwinTone has a super fine point that is great for adding little details.

Twintone Set

This set includes some of my favorite Twintone markers.  If you like adding in the finishing touches with a fine tip, then this set from Tombow is a great deal.  This set includes one each of Black, Blue, Candy Pink, Carrot Orange, Cherry Pink, Chocolate, Emerald Green, Grape, Lime Green, Navy, Pink, and Strawberry.

This is also available at Dick Blick, so compare prices.

Marker Desktop Organizer

Tombow has created a desktop organizer for your markers.  I love that each shelf slides out and there is a designated spot for each marker!

Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White

Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof white is great for adding "white" over your markers.

Tombow Markers

These are the basic markers you will need to start your collection!

I really love these twintones for their fine tips.  I often use these at the end of my project to define some points in the image.

Art Impressions has all the basic markers.  If you are wanting more selection, be sure to check out Tombow, where you can purchase individually or in sets.

Brushes

A good watercolor brush is critical.  If you can only get one, the #4 is what I highly recommend!  The #1 and #6 are optional, but definately come in handy.

As an affiliate for Art Impressions and as an Amazon associate,  I earn from qualifying purchases.   If you choose to use my links, it is much appreciated, as the small commission helps fund my website.  You only need to click once on a link to take you to the website.  Once there,  you can shop all you want.  The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or not, but if you use the link it will help support the cost of having a website, and would be very much appreciated.
